Adult Hockey Leagues

The IcePlex is proud to announce its Adult Leagues and Programs. All games and programs take place entirely at the Raleigh IcePlex. Our leagues and programs are intended to group and serve all adults 18 and up based on their skill level and development.

IAHL is dedicated to cultivating and developing adults in the sport of hockey. This is achieved through proper developmental programs and leagues in an atmosphere that promotes good sportsmanship. These concepts will provide every adult the avenue to learn, grow and enjoy the game of ice hockey with the IAHL in a variety of leagues and clinics.

B league (Mon nights) begins Feb 4th
Game times begin at 9:15pm and 10:45pm. 17 games guaranteed, includes playoffs
Cost $3350 team + $150 deposit = $3500 or $295 per individual.

BC league (Tue nights) begins Jan 29
Game times begin at 9:15pm and 10:45pm. 17 games guaranteed, includes playoffs
Cost $3350 team + $150 deposit = $3500 or $295 per individual.
Deposits Due Jan 15th!

C league (Sun, Wed, Fri. nights) begins Feb 8th
Game times begin on Sun at 3:45pm, Wed 9:15p, Fri at 10:15p. 17 games guaranteed.
C league will be broken down into Upper C and Lower C. Cost $3350 team + $150 deposit = $3500.00 or $295 per individual.
Deposits Due Jan 25th!

All IAHL league games included the following:

MVP awarded per season. ($50 gift certificate)
Registration "gift" for every team.
Playoff "gift" for every team.
League, Goalie, and Player statistics posted online weekly. (Posted after 6th game)
All IAHL players receive a 15% discount at the Iceplex Pro-shop.
USA Hockey sanctioned league and Officials
Championship T-shirts for winning teams.
Captains Packet available in the office.

All deposits are required one week prior to League's first games. All team payments are due upon the teams first game. Schedules will be available at team's first game. For further information please refer all questions and inquiries to the Iceplex Box office. Any Player's needing teams will be placed by the league office. IcePlex Adult Hockey Pick-Up:

Learn to Play Hockey Level I and II and C League Pick-Up:
Prerequisite - learn to skate program or equivalent
Designed - to teach skills of the game including skating, stick handling, passing and shooting.
Ages - 18 and up
Class Time - Thursday evenings - Please check Adult Clinics page for accurate semester times.
C League Pick Up - Thursday evenings (included with class)
BC League Pick Up - (not included with class, $10 walk on)

Friday Morning Pick-Up:
Designed - this league is a very relaxed, fun skate. We don't keep score, we just come out early, pick teams, and have a good time skating.
Ages - 18 and up
Dates - Friday morning
Times - 4:30-6:45 AM
Price - $10 per session or a 10-Session Pass for $80

A/B League:
Designed - This league is for advanced players. Division II and Division III college players, juniors, and ex high school players will fit right in. Teams must have the same amount of A level players on their roster as they do B level players. All games times on Sunday go from as early as 3:45pm - 11:15pm.
Ages - 18 and up
Days - Sundays

B League:
Designed - This league is for intermediate players. Mostly college and high school players, as well as those players who have played a long time and have a lot of experience at the game.
Ages - 18 and up
Days - Monday Nights

B/C League:
Designed - This league is for novice players. Made up of players who have become well acquainted with the game but are still learning. This league will have some experienced players playing and teams must have the same amount of B level players as they do C level players.
Ages - 18 and up
Days - Tuesday Nights

Upper C League:
Designed - This league is for the intermediate beginner. You will find most of these players are competitive and yet still learning the game in a more competitve atmosphere than the lower C league. All games times are on Sunday's and go from as early as 3:45pm - 11:15pm.
Ages - 18 and up
Days - Sundays / Wednesdays / Fridays

Lower C League:
Designed - This league is for the beginner. You will find most of these players are brand new to the game and are straight out of our Learn To Play program. This league is strictly a developmental league and those who pick-up the game quickly can move on to a more competitive league like the upper C league or the BC league. All games times are on Sunday's and go from as early as 3:45pm - 11:15pm
Ages - 18 and up
Days - Sundays / Wednesdays / Fridays

C League Learn to Play and Developmental Clinic and Pick-up:
Designed - This developmental clinic focuses on skills needed to compete at the C League or BC level. If you are a beginner, or intermediate player then this is for you!! We take the ice and maintain a controlled, scrimmage atmosphere focusing on positioning, rules, face-offs, and basic strategies needed for the game of hockey. We take a short 5 minute break and then divide into fair and even teams and play pick up. If you are wanting to learn the game of hockey in a relaxed yet informative atmosphere, then this will serve you well! Sign-Ups are on going for this program. Check LTP section for dates. Cost is $120 for 8 sessions, or $10 for class drop in and $10 for pick up drop in.

Days - Thursday Nights

ALL PLAYERS MUST SIGN THE ICEPLEX WAIVER AND RELEASE FORM AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. TEAMS THAT WOULD LIKE A CERTAIN DAY TO PLAY ON, MAY SPECIFY SO AT THE LEAGUE OFFICE. PLAYERS MUST ALSO SHOW PROOF OF USA HOCKEY BEFORE PLAYING. VERBAL PROOF DOES NOT COUNT!!!

THE ICEPLEX RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MOVE ANY PLAYER WHO IS NOT PLAYING IN HIS/HER RESPECTIVE LEAGUE DURING ANY PART OF THE SEASON. THE ICEPLEX PROMOTES GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AND IN DOING SO WE MUST MAINTAIN A GOOD BALANCE OF PLAYERS IN EACH RESPECTIVE LEAGUE.

THE PAYMENT FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

WE HAVE TEAM FEES OR INDIVIDUAL FEES BASED ON EACH TEAMS NEEDS AND QUALIFICATIONS. THE LEAGUE FEES BREAKDOWN AS FOLLOWS

EACH TEAM MUST PAY THEIR TEAM FEE BEFORE HIS/HER FIRST GAME. THE INDIVIDUAL RATE IS ALSO DUE AT EACH PLAYERS FIRST GAME. PRO-RATING THE INDIVIDUAL FEE WILL NOT OCCUR TILL AFTER THE 3RD SCHEDULED GAME OF THE SEASON. NO PRO-RATING WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR TEAM FEES.
ANY PLAYER JOINING THERE AFTER WILL PAY FOR THE REMAINING GAMES LEFT AT $20 PER GAME PRO-RATE WITH THE AMOUNT OF GAMES LEFT REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE TEAM HAS PAID. THERE ARE NO PAY BY GAME OPTIONS AVAILABLE!!!
TEAM ROSTERS WILL BE HANDED IN AT THE TEAMS FIRST GAME. PLEASE LIST ALL PLAYERS ON THIS ROSTER, AS THEY WILL BE THE ONES COVERED BY THE TEAM FEE. ANY ADDITIONS AFTER THAT DATE MUST PAY THE INDIVIDUAL PRO-RATED PRICE WHICH IS IN ADDITION TO THE TEAM FEE ALREADY PAID. ALL ROSTER ADDITIONS MUST BE MADE 24 HOURS PRIOR TO ALL SCHEDULED GAMES, PAYMENT IS DUE PRIOR TO THE GAME. IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED YOUR TEAM WILL FORFEIT THAT GAME DUE TO PLAYER INELIGIBILITY.
AFTER THE 5TH GAME OF THE REGULAR SEASON, ROSTERS WILL BE FROZEN!!
A MINIMUM OF 10 PLAYERS AND A GOALIE MUST MAKE UP A TEAM ROSTER. A MAXIMUM OF 16 PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED ON ANY TEAMS ROSTER.
ANY PLAYER WHO HAS NOT SIGNED UP WITH USA HOCKEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO DO SO AT HIS/HER FIRST GAME. A CREDIT CARD WILL BE REQUIRED TO DO SO. PLAYERS MUST ALSO PROVIDE PROOF OF USA HOCKEY MEMBERSHIP BEFORE THEY CAN PLAY THEIR FIRST GAME IF THEY ARE REGISTERED AT ANOTHER FACILITY OR ANOTHER ORGANIZATION.
